Immigration Legal Services & Citizenship Classes

Legal permanent residency or citizenship can be yours.

Becoming a U.S. citizen is a dream for many, and there are different ways to achieve that. Most people will first apply to become a legal permanent resident, and then become a naturalized citizen. You can also gain citizenship through marriage, your parents, or military service.

El Concilio has been providing free and low-cost bilingual citizenship preparation and immigration legal services since 1968. We have the experience and expertise to help you navigate this exciting new world of opportunity. Our Immigration Legal Services team provides low-cost or no-cost immigration services for immigrants, refugees, asylees, Dreamers, victims of domestic violence. and low-income immigrants.

Our services are here to help everyone, offering comprehensive immigration legal services for naturalization application filings, legal permanent resident status, renewal services, eligibility screenings, and all application filings, as well as an innovative, bilingual citizenship preparation instruction program.

Navigating the immigration system can be complicated.

Our New American Citizenship Pathways campaign represents El Concilio’s unique approach to provide seamless immigration services across the various services needed by those seeking citizenship. We also assist clients in requesting waivers of application fees, allowing many to gain immigration benefits that would otherwise be unattainable.

Distinguishing El Concilio from others is our history of helping undocumented working-immigrants attain legal status and a green card, bringing them out of the shadows and empowering them with the ability to get better jobs and provide security and stability for them, their families and the community.
