El Concilio has an immediate opening for a full-time Latino Behavioral Health Case Manager. This position involves home visits, assessment, extensive record keeping and caseload management.  Must be able to handle clients complex health needs; assist in daily living assistance and medications.  Proficient in preparing reports, daily documentation for each consumer and treatment referrals. The case manager must be able to prioritize the needs of the consumer and keep accurate records of progress made during treatment. A case manager must have the ability to work well in emergency situations and provide immediate assistance in crisis situations. Preferred applicant to have the ability to effectively communicate in English/Spanish verbally and in writing; accomplish organizational goals by adherence working with El Concilio Policies and Procedures; effectively handle interactions with Human Services Agency.  Minimum of an AA Degree.  Must have a valid California Driver’s License.  Full- time position (40 hours) with medical benefits, starting at $32,115. State Preschool Teacher – All Year – $14 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for El Concilio State Preschool for Teacher positions.  Preschool Teacher is responsible for all components of quality instruction for El Concilio State Preschool Program.  Preschool Teacher adheres to State of California early learning requirements and conduct appropriate observations and assessments while providing individualized curriculum that meets the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of children.  You must be able to function with a high level of independence in the design and implementation of instructional activities and assessment. State Assistant Teacher – All Year – $12 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for Assistant Teachers for the State Preschool Program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide is responsible for supporting the teaching staff in the implementation of all components of quality in the program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide will be responsible for assisting the classroom teachers in the general supervision, management, and environment in the class. You must have High School Diploma, minimum of 6 units of ECE/CD including Core Courses; one year of experience, valid California driver’s license, recent tuberculosis clearance and pass Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance. Home Visitors

El Concilio has an opening for a fulltime Home Visitor position.  This position involves doing home visits to provide PAT (Parents As Teacher) curriculum to preschool children.   Experience in, social work, outreach and enrollment, assessment, extensive record keeping is preferred. Applicants must be proficient in writing skills; must have accomplished organizational skills.  Requirements:  Minimum of an AA degree and two (2) years’ experience in social work. Applicant must have case management experience; must possess strong organizational skills; have proficient computer skills; must have valid CDL, clear DOJ. Starting pay $18 per hour.

Immigration attorney

El Concilio serves low-income and the working-class populations, predominantly the Hispanic community. El Concilio is in need of an immigration attorney with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Our immigration services include family immigration matters i.e. adjustment of status, consular processing, VAWA, U-Visa, DACA and naturalization cases wanted for grant funded immigration services program serving lower income immigrants residing primarily in the San Joaquin and Stanislaus County areas. In addition to case work, attorney will be working with community groups and performing community outreach and Know Your Rights presentations.

Full-time Immigration paralegal

Immigration Paralegal desired for El Concilio Immigration Services Program.  Candidate with minimum 2 years immigration paralegal experience interviewing clients, preparing forms for family based immigration, such as but not limited to applications for adjustment of status, all forms for consular processing, naturalization desired.  Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.  Must be culturally sensitive.  Applicant must enjoy fast paced environment with extensive client contact.  Position is a full time with starting salary $42,000
