2011 Tamale Dinner

El Concilio's very popular, annual "Navidad in El Valle" (Christmas in the Valley) Tamale meal fundraiser features beautiful cultural dancers, live music, fun and even a drive-thru for convenient "TO GO" meals this year.

The event has become an annual kick-off to the wonderful Christmas season. The colors, sounds and delicious food are sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

El Concilio presents the Annual Tamale Dinner Fundraiser event on Thursday December 1st from 5pm to 8pm at the Stockton Civic Auditorium, 525 N. Center Street. All of the proceeds from this event will go towards food baskets given to needy families later in the month.

Admission is free. Delicious tamale meals are available for only $10 each.

Drive-Thru "TO GO" Service Available! 
Convenient and so delicious!
As a special service this year, for those with limited time during LUNCH & DINNER,

El Concilio will have a special "TO GO" meal option between 11am and 2pm at the Stockton Civic Auditorium. A convenient drive-thru service will be available to easily pick-up your "TO GO" meals. Advance ticket purchases can be made and then redeemed at the drive-thru available along Fremont Street next to the Stockton Civic Auditorium.  Volunteers will be there to quickly handle your orders and get you on your way.

Drive-thru service will also be available for dinner between 5pm and 8pm.

Only $10 a plate!
This annual event offers delicious tamale meals of pork, chicken, or vegetarian. For the low price of $10 per meal, one can enjoy a delicious meal, which is 2 tamales, beans, rice, and salad. The tamales are made fresh and delicious.

The purpose of this event is to generate funds to provide food baskets for needy families throughout our communities in Lodi, Manteca, Stockton and Tracy. Our goal is to provide 2,000 food baskets to families that would go hungry and not have a reason to enjoy the Christmas season. Also any donation of toys would add to our efforts in providing gifts of food to these families.
