State Preschool Teacher – All Year - $16 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for El Concilio State Preschool for Teacher positions.  Preschool Teacher responsible for all components of quality instruction for El Concilio State Preschool Program.  Preschool Teacher adheres to State of California early learning requirements and conduct appropriate observations and assessments while providing individualized curriculum that meets the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of children.  Must be able to function with a high level of independence in the design and implementation of instructional activities and assessment. State Assistant Teacher – All Year - $14 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for Assistant Teachers for the State Preschool Program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide is responsible for supporting the teaching staff in the implementation of all components of quality in the program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide will be responsible for assisting the classroom teachers in the general supervision, management, and environment in the class. Must have High School Diploma, minimum of 6 units of ECE/CD including Core Courses; one year of experience, valid California driver’s license, recent tuberculosis clearance and pass Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.   Full-Time

 

Latino Behavioral Health and Engagement Services Program

Outreach Worker/Recovery Coach

EL Concilio is accepting applications for an Outreach and Recovery Coach for the Latino Behavioral Health Outreach and Engagement Services Program.  This position involves servicing San Joaquin County.  Responsibilities will include development and distribution of educational materials in both English and Spanish aimed toward those that seek mental health services. The individual will act as a liaison between consumers, family members and the mental health system and attend weekly training and support groups.  The position requires excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills along with previous experience in the field of mental health.  Bilingual preferred in English and Spanish Basic computer proficiency is required.  Part-Time position, minimum of an AA degree and or equivalent experience; must have a valid California Driver’s License. DUI/Substance Abuse Counselor

El Concilio has an opening for a part-time DUI/Substance Abuse Counselor.  Must have a current State approved Substance Abuse Counselor Certificate, proof of intern hours and current continuing education credit, proficient communication skills, experience in managing impacted client scheduling and progress documentation reporting.  Must have a valid CDL, clean DMV record; pass DOJ clearance, proficient with both Spanish and English preferred.  $25 per hour, deadline for application submission: until filled.

 

AB109 Re-Entry Lead Case Manager

El Concilio is seeking for an individual in our AB109 Probation Re-Entry program.” The position is a Lead Case Manager working with ex-offenders of minor offenses. The Lead Case Manager will work intensely to connect ex-offenders with the necessary support services for a positive transition to their community.  Applicant must have knowledge of community services, be able to meet contractual deadline reporting, experience working reducing recidivism to increase offender accountability and community reparation, and to enable each client to become a self-sufficient, fully participating member of society.  Proficient computer and accounting skills, be able to do public presentations, excellent writing skills.  Must have a valid CDL, clean DMV record, must pass DOJ clearance and SJ Sheriff’s clearance.  F/T position includes benefits, starting salary $43,992 annually.  Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate for Alcohol and Substance Abuse a plus, deadline for application submission: Until Position Filled.

 

Certified Accountant Position

Compensation: $65,000 or $80,000 depending on experience.

Appling principles of accounting to analyze past and present financial operations. Must be able to manage and integrate finances, project accounting, and estimate future revenues and expenditures to prepare budgets under the direction of the CFO.  Essential duties and responsibilities will consist of adhering to all El Concilio's policies and procedures, handle short time deadlines, manage budgeting systems and control of expenditures for activities, must have knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, Payroll People and Evolution. Maintaining electronic daily documents of transactions as well as in hard copy format.  Preparing financial accounting reports and sending them to concerned authorities. Knowledge to taxation issues and preparing taxation reports. Must be able to respond to government and institutions in checking the accuracy of the information given in financial matters.  Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting a must, preferably a CPA.
