Immigration 

Immigration provides updated information on immigration policies and procedures and supportive counseling.

La Familia Counseling Program

La Familia Counseling Program helps under-served families with children ages 0-5 in Stanislaus County.  El Concilio provides the following services:

 

• Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Prevention

• Support Groups 

• Counseling / Referrals

• Family Counseling 

• Health and Parent Education

• Couples Counseling

• Depression

 

La Familia Counseling program is free and is available to families with children ages 0-5 this program funded by the Stanislaus County Children and Families Commission

Latino Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (LBHRS)

The goal of the program is to reduce the negative stigma associated with Mental Health among the underserved communities via counseling, education, community capacity building and crisis intervention.  Services are delivered for depression, parenting & substance abuse as well as outreach and presentation within various communities in Stanislaus County and working with the community via grassroots.  Presentations are available in both English and Spanish.  

 

LBHRS program is funded by Stanislaus Behavior Health and Recovery Services PEI

 

 

Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

We have certified enrollment counselors available to help clients with their insurance enrollment needs thru Covered California or Medi-Cal throughout the year. 

 

 Cal Fresh

 

El Concilio is happy  to announce our new Cal Fresh program (previous known as Food Stamps) in Stanislaus County. We will provide assistance with Cal-Fresh application, renewals and outreach in different locations. Call us today to learn more about qualifying for CalFresh and for assistance with the applying for benefits.

Coalition Lunch Monthly Meetings

Last Thursday of the month at El Concilio from 11:30- a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

 

Purpose:

It is the goal of El Concilio during these meetings to focus on issues affecting our community in areas of health, safety, education, culture, economic development, future political leadership and current events or issues that directly impact our community.
